The greenhouse efect recieves energy from the sun every day. Acasionaly, the enrgy is reflected from the Earth back outside into space by the Earth's surface. The greenhouse gases in the atmosphere trap the energy, preventing this energy from going into space. This makes the Earth hotter than out-of-space.

The sun energy passes though the carbon dioxide layer of the atmosphere and becomes trapped. Too much carbon dioxide can cause the earth to become too hot.

The greenhouse effect is like a blanket of gasses around the earth trapping the heat, keeping the earth warm. Otherwise we would be ice covered and not able to live on earth.

The greenhouse effect is a warming that results when solar radiation is trapped by the atmosphere; caused by atmospheric gases that allow sunshine to pass through but absorb heat that is radiated back from the warmed surface of the earth. Its importance is that Without the greenhouse effect, the Earth would not be warm enough for humans to live. But if the greenhouse effect becomes stronger, it could make the Earth warmer than usual. Even a little extra warming may cause problems for humans, plants, and animals.

the greenhouse effect captures the suns rays and brings them to earth. This is important because if we didnt have this the earth would be frozen

Greehouse effect-the process in which carbon dioxide and other gases in the atmosphere absorb infrared radiation from the sun, forming a heat blanket around the Earth. It is important because it absorb infrared rays, so the temperature will go up instead of down.

The greenhouse effect is when carbon dioxide and other gases form around the earth like a heat blanket around the earth. The greenhouse effect is important because the surface temp would be below freezing and everything would be a global ice age.

The greenhouse effect is the process in which carbon dioxode and other geses in the atmosphere absorb the infrared rays of the from the sun forming a "heat blanket" around the Earth. The reason why the greenhouse effect is important is because as the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increases, more infrared rays will be absorbed. This will cause the Earth's temperatures to go up.Higher temperatures might result as different weather patterns, including warmer winters and less or too much rainfall. This is not good for the ice caps in the Artic and for the rainforest(.ect).This is what the greenhouse effect is and why it is important.

The greenhouse effect is the process in which carbon dioxide and other gases in the atmosphere absorb infrared radiation from the sun, forming a heat blanket around the Earth. The carbon dioxide acts like the glass in a greenhouse to trap heat. This is important because it makes the Earth a comfortable place to live.

The greenhouse effect is when carbon dioxide and different gases in the atmosphere absorb infrared rays. This forms like a heat blanket around the Earth and increases the temperature. With out this heat blanket we would all freeze. The problem is we are producing too much manmade carbondioxide and the temperatures on the Earth are rising.

The greenhouse effect is the process of when carbon dioxide absorbs the infrared rays forming a kind of heat blanket around the Earth. The importance of the greenhouse effect is that without it, the Earth would be cold, because the "heat blanket" helps keep us warm.

The greenhouse effect is the process in which carbon-dioxide and other gases in the atmosphere absorb infrared radiation from the sun forming a heat blanket around the earth. It is important because without the greenhouse effect, the earth would overheat and too much radiation would reach humans.

The greenhouse effect is when the ultraviolent rays from the sun reach the earth and the earth radiantes the energy back into atmosphere in the form of infrafed rays. The importance of this is so the people on earth don't get hurt by the sun's harmful rays and it also keeps us warm during the night when the sun is on the other side of the earth. This is the Greenhouse effect.

The greenhouse effect is when the atmosphere absorbs ultraviolet rays as infrared rays. This creates a "heat blanket" around the Earth. It is important because if the atmosphere did not absorb the ultraviolet rays then we would FRY! Ouch. Go Patriots!

The greenhouse effect is the process by which carbon dioxide and other gases in the atmosphere absorb infrared rays forming a "heat blanket" around the Earth. The greenhouse effect is important because when the ultraviolet rays reach the Earth, the Earth radiates the energy back into the atmosphere as infrared rays. If this didn't happen, then the ultraviolet rays would burn us and give us REALLY bad sunburn. So the greenhouse effect is very important.

The green house effect is when ultravioet rays from the sun reach the Earth and radiantes the heat right back in the atmosphere in the form of infrared rays which are harmfull to people causes sunburn. The greenhouse effect is important because it helps us humans to not to get hurt from these powerful rays because it causes sunburn which really hurts.

The green house effect is the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere absorb the infrared rays brcause infrared rays cannot pass throught the empty space. Then it forms some kind of heat blanket on the Earth's serfis. The importants of the green house effect is if the atmosphere could not obsorb it then is would be very hot and we would get badly sun berned. People wounldn't be abal to live on this plantet if that happend!

The greenhouse effect is when the ozone layer lets some of the harmful ultraviolet rays through to earth. Then, the Earth radiates them back as infrared rays. When the infrared rays reach the ozone layer they bounce back and are unable to escape. This heats up the Earth a lot. This is important because if the ozone layer didn't do this there would be enternal winter.

The greenhouse effect is when infared rays are absorbed by the atmosphere and the gasses in the atmosphere create a heat blanket around the earth. If this greenhouse effect never existed, the wold wold hot at all times, all the water would probably evaporate very fast, and global warming would have started a long time ago.
